baltimore crime rate and the folly of the establishment

throughout 2008, the crime rate in baltimore city was experiencing the height of a decline (at least according to the statistics). however, since baltimore, like many other cities who has a mayor who spends money like rockefeller, is in the hole for a lot of money. because of this, in october, the city has to decide what programs to cut in order to make some type of money and one of the things to go is the overtime for baltimore city cops. what happens after that, you ask? the crime rate goes back up and is continuing to be on the rise to this day.

so why am i writing? i write because mayor dixon (hereby refered to as la femme crook) and city council president stephanie rawlings-blake (hereby refered to as dom fivehead) suggest that the police are not doing anything to keep the crime rate down. HELLO!!! do you not realize that when you take cops away from a neighborhood, the villians of that neighborhood will think it's open season for crime. you don't take cops away from a bad neighborhood and then wonder why crime in that neighborhood is back on the rise. you two idiots may have undid a year and a half of work that baltimore city cops (again if you buy the statistics) were doing.

so la femme crook, were you thinking about the crime rate when you were spending $22,000 on a trip to egypt??? were you thinking about your fair city when you were spending money like it was going out of style on yourself and your buddies??? do you really spend time listening to yourself when you try to explain why crime is on the rise??? do you realize that a 1st grader could explain why crime is high in baltimore city better than you???

and dom fivehead, did you listen to your plan when you showed up on my tv (in hd)??? did you think that baltimore could last two years until you figure out whether or not re-districting the city police force will help the crime rate??? did you think that just because you look like real on a bad day (watch vh1 to find out who real is) you and your plan will fly for the people that live in harm city???

i'll tell you what you should do. give you a little intro. to criminal justice because obviously you have never had the class (or you had the class and didn't pay attention). if you take away a symbol of authority in a place that really needs it, the place will go to hell in a handbasket. ergo, since you took away baltimore's police force away for neighborhoods that really need them, you are turning baltimore into sodom (or gommorrha whatever you prefer). find a way to get the funds to put overtime back into the baltimore city police's fund so the crime rate in the city can go down (at least according to the statistics).

in the meantime... i'll be hoping that you get all this through your head before your "conviction."
